So not only will Ft Worth Texas be the first city in the US to mine Bitcoin, they’re going to be running three mining rigs right in city hall. Funny how years ago Ft Worth and Dallas were all a part of the oil boom and now they’re participating in mining Bitcoin:

Three Bitmain Antminer S9 mining rigs will run 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in the climate-controlled information technology wing of Fort Worth City Hall. The city says the miners will be hosted on a private network to minimize the security risk.
