RE: Mark Cuban Sounds Ignorant – Again

Mark “Do As I Say, Not As I Do” Cuban is back at it again

Mark Cuban Sounds Ignorant Blasting Bitcoin’s Security and Value

“Mark Cuban caught the attention of the cryptocurrency community after he criticized bitcoin in a Forbes article. The self-made billionaire said the number one cryptocurrency has “no chance” of becoming a reliable currency. In the article, Cuban also said that the digital asset is,

‘Too difficult to use, too easy to hack, way too easy to lose, too hard to understand, too hard to assess a value.’

That’s rich coming from someone who made billions leveraging the power of the internet in its early days. Back then, there was a lot of optimism behind the potential of the internet. That optimism drove Yahoo executives to pay $5.7 billion for Cuban’s streaming service.”

You know, I bet Cuban hodls a fair amount of BTC…and you’re right, he’s one of those types who tells the plebs one thing and all the while is doing the complete opposite, himself. He’s always talking out of the side of his neck, as old folks when I was a kid used to say….

“One of the most outspoken critics of Bitcoin (BTC) has delivered mixed messages about its reliability as a financial asset.

In comments to Forbes published on Dec. 10, Mark Cuban appeared to contradict himself on Bitcoin’s overall utility.

When asked whether or not the cryptocurrency could become a ‘reliable financial instrument,’ the Dallas Mavericks owner gave two differing responses. ‘Not a chance,’ he wrote at first. Subsequently, he added, ‘It is a collectible. If you consider art or gold a viable stable financial asset, then yes. It can be.’”
